About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and/or lathes in a fast‑paced production environment. You’ll be responsible for reading blueprints, performing accurate setups, making offsets, inspecting parts, and ensuring machines run efficiently throughout the shift. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
• Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

Requirements

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong understanding of machining principles, speeds, and feeds

• Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators)

• Ability to perform setups, offsets, and basic troubleshooting

• Familiarity with G‑code and basic programming adjustments is a plus

• Reliable, safety‑focused, and detail‑oriented

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
